            Frequently Asked Questions


            Below you will find our FAQ list for golf courses, event planners, and other.  We've done our best to answer as many questions as possible.  However, if you have a question that you do not see answered below, please don't hesitate to contact us.

            Golf Courses

            Can you give a quick summary of your service?  We place ads on your golf course for an event and share a portion of the revenue with you.

            When and how do we get paid?  You will get paid within 2 weeks after an event.  We can pay you via check or paypal.

            What is our responsibility?  Simply provide Divot ads the event planners information and we do the rest.

            How do we know we will get paid after we refer and event?  We personally contact each event planner asking how they heard about us.  If they mention from you, you get paid.  And here's the best part, if they don't mention they heard it from you, we will then contact you and pay you anyway.  But the best way to have any chance of making money is to refer events.

            How much will we get paid?  This will depend on the # of ads placed on a given event and the # of events that use us on your course.  You will get paid $3 per purchased ad.

            How do we refer and ad?  You can refer an ad 3 ways.  1.  Fill out the form on our site  2.  Hand out or email our flyer to an event planner (located here) 3.  Email us the info separately to sales@divotads.com

            This seems too easy, what's the catch?  It really is that simple.  No risk involved whatsoever. 

            Event Planners

            What kind of material and size is the ad?  Standard sizes are 5 x 7 and 8 x 10.  Multiple sizes are available and we will work with you if you need different sizes.  Our material is a low tack adhesive vinyl, full color, weatherproof ad that will leave zero residue.

            Can you reapply the ad?  Absolutely!  This is probably the single best benefit.  After an event is over, peel the ad off, put it back on the backing it came with and reapply it at your next event saving you time and money at your next event.

            Are you able to design our ad?  Yes.

            What format do we need to use when emailing our ad?  Any PDF or JPG file.

            Do you offer contour cuts?  Yes.  However there may be an additional charge.  Contact us that you are interested in contour cuts and we'll provide a quote.

            What are your rates and why is this not on your site?  This is because rates may vary depending on size, qty, format, etc.  The more ads you place, the cheaper your rate.  Typical charges are between $15 to $25 per ad. 

            How quickly can you deliver ads for our event?  This is not so easy to answer as there are many variables.  We need to make sure the correct file format is used, payments are made, graphics are satisfactory, etc.  To give you an idea, we can deliver ads to your doorstep within 2 weeks maximum.

            Will the Divot Ads name be displayed anywhere on our ad?  Yes, in very small print our copyright will read "www.DivotAds.com Left this Mark".  You can trust this will in no way take away the integrity of your ad.
